Nature Fresh Calcium Complex: 5 tablets or 1 teaspoon of powder in water/milk/juice to cleanse the body of toxins, rebulid your bones and balance pH. It has a soothing, relaxing effect. Most calcium is lost at night.
SUGGESTIONS: dates/ rye crackers/ cheese/ yogurt/ apples / barley cake/ morevite & soya cereal / banana or soya milkshake, especially to control blood sugar throughout the night to help you sleep. Vitamin E 400iu / Evening primrose oil/ Flaxseed oil/ cod liver oil/ Vitamin C & MSM/ multivitamin/ Calcium D Pantothenate( Vitamin B5 ) 100mg/ Calcium & Magnesium: 3-5 tablets or 1 teaspoon of Powder/ olive leaf capsules. Melatonin if you are travelling.
GUIDELINES TO GETTING THE BEST RESULTS WITH NATURE FRESH DIETS AND HEALTH REGIMENS.
FATS: For cooking: olive oil or butter. MIx the two and keep in your fridge to use for spreading on bread. Salads, veggies and porridge: flaxseed oil, canola and sunflower oil. You can mix up a blend to use, but not for cooking.
SUGARS: Only molasses as it contains the correct minerals for uptake in the body and is alkaline. It does not buzz the pancreas like glucose, white sugar or honey. They cause a rebound hunger and a drop in blood sugar.
STARCHES: Most of us do not tolerate wheat, especially white flour. Rather: wholewheat, rye, oats and barley.
PROTEINS: If you do not eat meat, have more soya, chickpeas, pulses, lentils and spirulina or amino acids.
STIMULANTS: A dirty word: no guarana, gotu kola, caffeine or smart drinks. They cause dependence and can make you feel tired, so you end up taking more stimulants and getting even more tired. This is because stimulants prevent the body from releasing its own excitory chemicals like dopamine and adrenaline. If you suffer from fatigue, look to your vitamins and minerals (especially B5) and take adequate amino acids or spirulina.
FIBRE & LAXATIVES: Not required once potassium levels are restored with 1 tablespoon of blackstrap molasses. It takes about three days to activate the colon. A tablespoon of ground up flax seeds in your cereal also speeds up the process. Add ½ teaspoon of Epsom salts (magnesium sulphate) to your evening supplement of Calcium complex as it helps to increase the mobility of the small intestine. Too much insoluble fibre, eg: bran, robs the body of calcium.
SALT: Substitute with: potassium chloride, or mix half your salt with cream of tartar and ground up herbs. Handy hint: if your salt becomes wet and clogs up the shaker, add a teaspoon of magnesium carbonate to it, for free flowing salt. A spoon of NATURE FRESH Calcium complex also helps to keep the salt flowing, and just think of all those extra nutrients. Some people use Calcium complex for cleaning their teeth.
