Q & A : How to treat boils
Q : Our family has been plagued by boils. It started with my son who is 19 and then spread around the family. Recently I had a number of terrible boils under my arms. It there anything you can recommend that we can perhaps take in order to prevent them. My son has been on a number of antibiotics, as have I. I look forward to any help/information you may have.
A: 1 The infection is usually staf bacteria and the pus is very infectious so it spreads. Use iodine to dab onto open sores and avoid contamination.
2 The most effective way to treat them from bump to pop to heal is with tissue salts. Follow the link for my in depth article. You can buy them from Clicks or Dis-Chem. If at angry hard lumpy stage use KALI MUR D6 If the wound is suppurating or is coming to head, use SILICEA D6. To clear the whole system use NAT SULPH D6 (treats acidity). When cleared up put the whole family on CALC PHOS D6. The whole disgusting procedure should take about a week – 10 days.

Best of all, you can use tissue salts “to cure just about anything”. It is the mainstay of my medicine chest.
For topical skin treatment (not cure) we have our Deo-Buster sport or Bee Balm
