How to get the most out of your probiotics

How to Get the Most Out of Your Probiotics

By Health Researcher: Sue Visser

We tend to regard probiotics as something we take as a medicine after using antibiotics. Probiotics are not part of our normal diet apart from yoghurt. Not everybody eats dairy products and vegans battle to find vegetable-based probiotics.

What did you do with your probiotics today? Most people will respond by saying they eat yoghurt. After taking antibiotics they buy expensive supplements to compensate for a wipe out of the gut flora. But very few people know that probiotics are live bacteria that live in the gut and make up over 80% of the immune system. They survive by consuming yeast and other microbes.

The other extreme with “immune boosting” is to take excessive amounts of natural substances like echinachea, goldenseal, oregano oil and propolis that do just the opposite! They behave like powerful antibiotics and wipe out the bacteria that function as the largest part of the immune system. Even copious amounts of garlic or cloves will affect your probiotic population.

An overgrowth of the benign yeast known as candida albicans usually indicates that there are not enough probiotics in the system. On the other hand, diets that starve out the candida yeasts tend to deprive the beneficial bacteria that feed off them and this affects your immunity. Probiotics neutralize toxins, remove heavy metals and create vitamins but they need candida as part of their food chain.

Probiotics work day and night to maintain immunity, to improve digestion, wipe out pathogens and keep us free of diseases. How often are we told to take probiotic supplements? Even then, there is a slim chance that the live bacterial strains will reach their destination safely. Ideally we need to eat more food that contains live bacterial strains and promotes probiotic activity on a constant basis. There are three major groups of probiotic strains:

1: Lactic acid does not mean dairy-based.
Lactic acid can be derived from fermented milk or from vegetables like cabbage. The lactobacillus strains are a group of bacteria that produce lactic acid. It is a strong sterilizing compound. It suppresses harmful micro organisms breaks down and ferments organic matter such as lignin and cellulose. They also produce antibacterial compounds that are known as bacteriocins that attack pathogenic bacteria.

Lactobacilli and bifido bacteria help to inhibit E.coli or Clostridium perfringens, salmonella or the rota virus that cause diarrhoea and gut infections. They assist in bulking the stool and help to speed up the elimination of toxic waste in the bowel. They help in digestion in general, by balancing pH and improving the uptake of minerals, especially calcium. They help us digest lactose (milk sugar) They make vitamins for example, B1, B2, B3, B5, B6 B12, A, D and K, and also essential fatty acids. They produce hydrogen peroxide at safe levels. They also keep cholesterol and triglyceride levels in check, and break down excessive hormone levels to control oestrogen dominance.

2 Phototropic bacteria
Rhodopseudomonas palustris live on carbon dioxide and are similar to blue-green algae. They support the activities of lactic acid and yeast based microbes by consuming toxins and pollutants like carbon dioxide, ammonia, methane and hydrogen-sulphide. They give off oxygen, amino acids, antioxidants and vitamin A. Bacillus subtilis, another vegetable – based probiotic is derived from fermented straw or grass. It can be used in the treatment of gut and urinary tract diseases such as Rotavirus and Shigella and it is also used to stimulate the immune system as it does not harm probiotic activity.

3 Beneficial yeasts do not cause candidiasis
Saccharomyces cerevisiae and Streptococcus thermophilus are strains of the brewer’s yeast family. They provide protein, B vitamins and chromium that help to improve insulin sensitivity. Candidiasis is an infection from a different species of yeast and needs to be controlled by the combined action of beneficial yeast and other probiotic strains.

Liquid-based bacterial strains that keep on growing!

*Over 25 years ago EM (effective microbes) research in Japan was undertaken to combine the three major groups of probiotic strains and explore their properties. They demonstrated the synergistic effect: more from less! They formulated their selection from microbes in nature that interact with each other to balance the environment. It is not about the amount of each microbe you need but more the variety of strains.
Microbes grow by themselves so the latest trend is to provide a larger selection that will then take care of establishing a healthy population of beneficial bacteria. All we need is a liquid concentration that provides the species and they will grow on food, molasses, yoghurt or even a glass of water at room temperature. The TMA (total microbial action) of *PROBIOTIC-15 liquid concentrate doubled within a few days when a teaspoon of it was left in a glass of water at room temperature.

How to harness the effects of probiotics

Fermented foods such as yoghurt, maas, kefir, kinchi pickles and sauerkraut also provide a constant supply of these little miracle workers. Here are some simple ways to establish a healthy supply of probiotics in your system.

1 If you tolerate dairy products, add probiotic supplements to your yoghurt or fermented milk known as amasi or maas. Leave them to grow at room temperature for a day or two. This increases their efficacy.

2 Use liquid probiotic strains that contain all the groups and include them in food or water. These new multi-strain products are fermented on a vegetable base.

3 Make your own sauerkraut. It provides lactobacillus plantarum. 1 kg of shredded cabbage is mixed with 15ml salt left to stand in the sun for a few hours. It is then tightly packed into two 500ml containers and sealed with cling wrap and a tight fitting lid. After 2-3 weeks it is ready to eat. Keep the containers in a bucket as some of the liquid oozes out during the process.

4 Kimchi is a fermented pickle and is made in the same way as sauerkraut. Substitute half the cabbage with a mixture of sliced carrots, red and yellow peppers, turnips, onions and a little garlic or extra chilli if desired.

5 Vegans can add kimchi or sauerkraut to salads, mashed potato or vegetables, mixed with egg free mayonnaise.

6 If you make your own juices out of herbs, fruit and vegetables then add a few tablespoons of sauerkraut to the mixture.

How to Enhance Your Meals With Natural Probiotics

Enjoy natural ways to enhance the population and beneficial activity of your intestinal flora. Probiotic foods are a great way to make your gut garden grow.

We are constantly reminded to consume natural foods and especially fruit and vegetables for all our nutrients, our medicine and our sustenance. Today we mostly depend on yoghurt and probiotic supplements to replace what antibiotics take out of us. The tell-tale itchy white growths on the vagina or mouth indicate we need to control yeast-based infections like candidiasis.

But these supplements do not only encourage favourable strains of microbes. It all depends on the terrain , according to the experts. If the gut is either too acidic or too alkaline in certain places then levels of benign yeasts or harmful E. coli, Helicobacter pylori, giardia, etc. can still breed excessively. The mouth saliva is slightly acidic, the oesophagus is alkaline, the stomach is intensely acidic at a PH of 2 so it can kill microbes.

The correct diet helps to control these variations within the gut to prevent yeast from developing into a harmful form of fungus or mould. Sugar and refined carbohydrates accelerate the fermentation of yeast and cause extreme acidity within the small intestine which should be predominantly alkaline. The large intestine is slightly acidic so that gut flora can thrive.

The leaky gut and irritable bowel syndromes are often aggravated by parasites and other organisms that burrow through the mucous linings of the gut and escape into the rest of the body. These and other undigested particles trigger off the immune system. Antibiotics are used to fight back but they wipe out the good guys, so we take more probiotics to try and equalize the situation. We keep eating food we cannot digest and we fail to control bacteria and parasites.

When yeast infections are under control, one notices a considerable reduction of the swollen, bloated waistline.

Natural Mechanisms That Destroy Bacteria

We are well equipped to handle invasive bacteria we ingest from food. Stomach acid; when it is sufficiently acidic and functioning at 40 degrees Centigrade can obliterate e-coli and Helicobacter pylori. In addition to this, we have a backup in the bloodstream if our reserves of iodine are adequate. Every 17 minutes blood flows over the thyroid gland to zap the invaders. Don’t tell me: you have had your thyroid gland removed? You are afraid to top up on iodine? What a pity!

Beneficial gut bacteria tracks down, absorbs and removes heavy metal particles. They help to control blood pressure and cholesterol levels – without any help from stain drugs and have no harmful side effects like insomnia, memory loss, constipation or reducing your libido. They keep candidasis in check, so you don’t suffer from bloating, depression, mood swings, itchy white patches in hidden places or other “headaches”!

Few people know that these foods are a rich source of vitamin C. When they went sailing around the world and suffered from scurvy they should have made sauerkraut like the Germans do! Probiotics also facilitate the break down of pre-cancerous oestrogen: 17- methoxyestradiol into the cancer fighting: 2-methoxyestradiol.

Natural antibiotics like garlic, golden seal, oregano oil, propolis and cloves may also reduce our beneficial gut bacteria if they are taken in repeated, large quantities. Over 100,000 billion bacteria from 500 species live in the human gut; collectively called the intestinal or gut flora. Over 60% of our bowel movement is made up out of bacteria. We think that fibre is the bulking factor but it only provides a “prebiotic”; a substance on which they feed.

Prebiotic foods have indigestible components that create the growth medium for probiotics. They are found in bananas, onions, leeks, barley, wheat, tomatoes, Jerusalem artichokes or chicory root. Fructooligosaccharides. Just eat them! Consuming insoluble fibre like wheat bran or husky supplements is no way to commence a bowel movement. A lot of seed coatings contain phytic acid that robs you of calcium along the way.

Traditionally people ate fermented food. They remained healthy and were never constipated.

December 2016 Q and A : Calcium and Probiotics

Dec 23, 2016 by Sue Visser

Dec 2016 Q & A on Nature Fresh Calcium and Probiotics

What type of calcium – spell it out!

Q ) On the container you do not specify the type of calcium in the product. Could you please spell that out: Is it carbonate / dolomite / citrate….or whatever else? Thanks and kind regards

A ) Thanks for your query. I hope this solves your dilemma:

According to the label we do spell it out: CALCIUM CITRATE.

https://naturefresh.co.za/products/nf-010-calcium-complex-300g-powder/
Calcium citrate is made by adding calcium carbonate to citric acid. We also include homeopathic tissue salts like CALC PHOS, CALC FLUOR & CALC SULPH. That’s why it’ called Calcium Complex – it is! But for over 20 years it has done a good job at a low, low price so people can afford it in their old age. It is also nappi coded. For more information, click here: https://naturefresh.co.za/calcium/

You asked if our products are biodegradable?

A ) We make consumable products, so one would assume them to be biodegradable as far as grey water and the environment are concerned. Formulations are fluoride free, SLES free and do not have nasty chemicals that harm people, plants or animals. We recycle grey water for our garden, if that is what you mean?

Our plastic containers are made of thermoplastics and are 100% recyclable, so next time you sit on a park bench, you can appreciate what it is made of!

Response: Perfect, yes, thanks very much. Now I just need to find time to sit on the park bench. 😉

The parasite remedy label change

Q ) I had a few comments from clients/patients about a slight change in the taste of Parasite Herbal remedy with the new label versus the old Parasite Herbal Remedy. Can you please inform us all if there has been an alteration in the formula?

A ) We changed the label, not the remedy. As you know, we are not allowed to make “claims” including what the product does and how it should really be used. The taste may vary from batch to batch because we use plant based material and seasons, crops and odd things may cause a taste change. Rather like wine and how they go on about the flavour nuances caused by soil, acidity and so on.

Nature Fresh and probiotics for VEGANS?

Q ) I wanted to follow up on whether your products are still vegan friendly or not. The reason I ask is I noticed your intimate wash now contains probiotics. Some of the probiotics listed such as lactic acid sounds like it could be derived from animals so I just want to know if any of those ingredients are derived from animals?

A ) We do not derive any probiotics from animals, as far as I know. Lactobacillus is alternatively fermented from things like cabbage (sauerkraut).

But if in doubt, don’t if you have a conscience problem with the possibility of using something that may have come from a microbe. It is a big problem for strict vegans because even the air is full of biological matter, including dust mites that we inhale unwittingly. Our Nature Fresh Bee balm is obviously not vegan, neither is the Aloe toothpaste with propolis. For the rest, we try our best.

Response: Thank you for getting back to me. It was actually the lactic acid I was wondering about? Or is that the same thing? If you say the probiotics are not derived from animals then I am happy to continue using the product as there really is no other product like it.

I understand not everything can be 100 percent vegan because of cross contamination in labs or factories etc but as long as none of the ingredients used in the intimate wash are derived from animals then I am happy.

Thanks for your response: I remembered a story told to us about Indian vegans who had adequate B12 levels. They ate chapattis made from wheat that was accidentally harvested and processed with locusts. EEK! Evidently we need good gut probiotics to help improve B12, so obviously we can make and absorb more vitamins and nutrients that way. I am not strictly vegan but am very careful about not hurting “anybody” either.

I noticed your other request about animal anti-cruelty. We are not going to apply for (or buy) any endorsements as our word is good enough. Instead we devote all our promotional money to Operation Smile and display their logo instead. Next year we will include St Luke’s hospice.

Thanks Sue! Regarding the cruelty free endorsement I am happy to take your word for it as I know you are an ethical company.

Information and trials done on Nature Fresh Probiotic liquid?

As stated on our label, they are from EFFICIENT MICROBES (EM) and their website address is: www.saem.co.za

Q & A on Nature Fresh Probiotic – 15. The product is made by EM (efficient microbes)

For more technical information please contact the EM Head Office on 031 2662935 or email info@saem.co.za. Here are FAQ and answers provided by EM:

How do your products differ to other probiotics?

The reason for EM’s efficacy and results is not, as many people believe, the number of microbes present in the product but, rather the number of microbial species. Although lactic acid bacteria are the most predominant bacteria in the GI tract they cannot establish themselves without the natural symbioses they share with other types of microbes. In the natural world various classes of bacteria are utterly reliant upon each other for growth and stability, as can be seen by the diversity of microbial life in soils and plants. Unlike most probiotic products which contain freeze-dried strains of just one or two species of microbes, EM closely mirrors the natural range of microbes that are found in our soils and food. It is the combination of these species which make EM unique. This is what accounts for EM’s efficacy and successes.

Why are EM Products unique?

The reason that we consider our product superior to other bacterial or probiotic supplements is simply that unlike most biological products available, EM is made up of three classes and multiple strains of bacteria, as opposed to the usual single-class bacterial products. The product is brewed at body temperature and stable at room temperature. It is completely raw and natural. One of the major benefits of EM is that it not only consumes toxins and eliminates pathogens, but also, through its extremely powerful probiotic qualities, promotes health and life. Thus, it is also used widely in the fields of waste treatment, agriculture and livestock (our other lines of business in South Africa). EM technology is one of the only technologies on the planet that allows for a variety of different classes of bacteria to be grown and maintained stably in a probiotic consortium.

The bacterial count of EM is lower than other probiotics, why?

The questions of bacterial counts (more commonly referred to as the CFU count – Colony Forming Units) and survivability in the GI tract is really only relevant when one is dealing with pure cultures i.e. those strains are grown in isolation. Pure cultures are generally very weak and have very little resistance or adaptability. Very high counts are therefore essential in order to get a fraction of the dose to survive the stomach and GI tract. Generally AB (Acidophilus/Bifido) culture probiotics have CFU counts in the billions. These are often freeze dried or dehydrated which further reduces their efficacy. They are also sometimes inserted in “carrier” mediums in order to “shelter” them from the low ph. stomach acid. An analogy would be taking a child and protecting him/her from any and all illnesses during the initial 2 years of life. As soon as that child is exposed to the real world you can expect him/her to contract numerous illnesses as there is very little resistance that has built up; the immune response has not developed.

Conversely, the microbes in EM are composed of a wide ranging consortium of multiple strains and classes. They are not grown in pure culture and therefore have to compete with each other in order to survive and proliferate. This far more closely approximates the conditions that life encounters while trying to survive.

In addition, EM is already a low ph. product (ph. is in the range of 3.0 – 3.5). Tests done on EM show the microbes survive in a wide ph. range from as low as 1.0 up to 13.0.

I have been using your product for a while now but have heard that the micro-organisms are destroyed by the hydrochloric acid in the stomach before they even reach the colon.

To answer your question, specific tests done by our parent company in the USA confirm that the microbes in EM survive ph. levels as low as 1.0 This is lower than the ph. of the stomach. The fact is that the natural microorganisms that occur in the gut arrived there via the stomach, so while some may not survive, it is generally the ones we don’t want! The ph. of EM Health Booster is in the range of 3.0 – 3.5 (Mainly lactic acid) which is already quite low.

One of the key purposes of the stomach is to act as a sterilizing or sanitizing tank. The low ph. kills almost all of the pathogens provided we chew the food correctly. Our ancestors as recently as 100 years ago ate food that would probably kill most of us today!

In addition, the microbes in EM are extremely robust. Most conventional “probiotics” are produced from what is known as pure cultures and tend to be very fragile, so the chances are that a lot of them will be affected by the stomach acid. The multi-class, multi-strain nature of EM means it is very adaptable under a wide ranging set of environmental variables.

Why are there white flakes on the top?

This is the natural yeast that forms when the product is exposed to oxygen (in other words, once the seal is broken) Do not shake it, it is normal for it to be there.

Can I take EM health products with other medications?

Yes, you can.  The gastro-intestinal tract’s healthy function relies on the presence of beneficial bacteria. Beneficial bacteria aid in digestion, correct pH balance (acidity), the processing of nutrients and the prevention of the build-up of harmful bacteria. Beneficial bacteria do not interfere with medication.  In fact, they are almost completely killed off with the use of antibiotics and the immune system is hugely compromised by the toxins in most medical drugs. Taking EM Probiotics help to protect the body from harmful toxins.

Can I refrigerate the product?

No, it is a “live” microbial product. The microbes go dormant if refrigerated. Keep at room temperature.

Can I give EM to babies? What age can they start to take EM and what dosage?

Yes – Depends on age of baby. New born babies, a couple of drops. Increase with age to half teaspoon and then one teaspoon.

Can I use EM in a nebulizer?

Yes, use as a substitute in the same dosage as the recommended pharmaceutical products.

How will I know if EM has gone off?

The product has a 6 week shelf life once the bottle has been opened. It will get a really “rotten” smell when it goes off.

Are there any side effects?

Very seldom. Occasionally the body may start to detox and get rid of chemicals which have been in your system, resulting in mild diarrhea or gas. If this occurs too suddenly, just cut down quantity and increase slowly until the body is comfortable with it. Any side effects experienced will be as a result of the detox action of EM. This is a good thing as it shows the body is cleansing itself.

Sulphur allergy – Parasite Remedy and Probiotics? Self-test with Kinesiology

Q ) My husband is violently allergic to sulphur. He almost died from A Vogel’s echinea force. It is very important that I confirm that the Probiotic 15 and the parasite remedy does not have sulphur.

A ) Your letter was referred to me this morning. We cannot guarantee that any of our products are free of sulphur as it is a natural and very abundant element. It depends on the amount of sulphur present. Even lighting a match will release some sulphur into the air!

At best, one could test your husband with the substance in question on equipment that measures the patient’s tolerance to a substance.

Here is a link to find out more: http://www.positivehealth.com/article/allergy-testing-1/applied-kinesiology-muscle-testing-for-allergies-and-food-sensitivities

Here is some advice from a blog:

http://www.healthboards.com/boards/allergies/754388-foods-avoid-when-allergic-sulfur.html

Re: foods to avoid when allergic to sulfur

I think you need to get a better understanding of what you’re allergic to because it’s fairly unlikely that an actual Sulfur allergy would ever create a problem with what you eat. Sulfur by itself is a crystalline chemical element that is not found in food.

Sulfa is a class of medications, based on Sulfoanamide that do not contain Sulfur but that commonly cause allergic reactions. If you are allergic to Sulfa medications you should avoid any sulfa-based medication but sulfa is not found in food.

Sulfites are a chemical compound naturally found in food, and added to food as a food preservative. Sulfites are most commonly found in wine (where they occur naturally but are also added as part of the fermentation process), dried fruit, dried potato products. If you are allergic to sulfites you should look for the words sulfite, bisulfite, metabisulfite on food labels and should probably avoid foods that contain them. I hope that helps. Regards, Sue Visser

Response: ) Thanks Sue I think his bracelet says sulfa and sulfanomindes or something like that. He reacted to bactrin medication and to echienaforce. Even one glass of wine is out of limits. Thanks. I will do further research. I took parasite remedy and I got sick. Almost didn’t make it to work today. I decided to take a break from it and I will resume on the weekend to get the healing crisis over and done with. Thanks for the info and keeping people educated and loving good health.

A ) Parasites don’t like to be expelled, but you should be feeling better by now? Drink a lot of water with lemon juice, it helps. I use a personal self –test I can share with you. If I don’t know if something is going to react (I am gluten intolerant) then I hold the substance against my chest with one hand and stretch out the other arm. Somebody presses it down and I try to keep it up. If the arm immediately sinks down, the substance I am holding is not suitable. This movie shows how to do this muscle test (kinesiology). Anybody can do it, but you need to practice a lot. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cGwYMZvJTmU Sue’s demonstration of Kinesiology

Then next time you are in doubt, hold the parasite remedy, or the Echinacea, etc against your husband’s chest and push down his arm, asking him to resist as hard as he can. The arm will always weaken if you hold a live cell phone against the chest, so this is how I show people the reaction. Then I ask them to say their name, without holding anything and the arm is strong again!

Probiotics

Dec 10, 2016 by Sue Visser

PROBIOTICS

We are told to take more probiotics, especially after using antibiotics. There are many different products on the market and some are very expensive. How do we know they are doing us any good and should we take more and more pills or capsules or should we investigate alternatives? Today we can also find out how to make and grow our own probiotics.

SUE – Why do we have to take them and what is the best way to restore what is called our gut flora?

For each of our human cells we have 10 microbes that live in the same space. They help us in many ways and when they are wiped out, we get health problems, especially those relating to hormones, vitamins and neurotransmitters. This is because our friendly microbes help us to maintain levels of vitamin B 12, for instance. They are present in the gut, as we know and this is where they break down the food we digest and extract and even manufacture our key hormones, vitamins and enzymes.

We also have large colonies of microbes in other parts of the body, especially the brain. Within the brain, it is the resident microbes that supply our serotonin, dopamine and other feel – good neurotransmitters. This is why we need the raw materials such as vitamin B12 and D3 because without them we experience anxiety, depression, apathy and even autism. You can eat all the right foods, but without a healthy colony of diverse microbes you cannot really be healthy or happy.

References and a lot of interesting articles are provided on our website: www.naturefresh.co.za   search box: type in probiotics

You get the search result: https://naturefresh.co.za/google-cse/?q=probiotics

SUE – What do you mean by liquid probiotics?

A ) We prefer liquid probiotic strains. These are like seeds that grow in the gut as opposed to a ready-made capsule. They also have a diverse collection of strains – at least 15 that are critically needed by the gut, body and the brain. We destroy them continuously by using electronic equipment, especially being constantly active with twittering and sending messages or being online, linked to a computer for hours on end.

It is not only antibiotics that destroy these microbes. It is also not true that we need only replace the lactobacillus strains. So yogurt alone cannot alleviate your depression or chase away pathogenic microbes. We need at least 10 or more types of microbes. That is why we have a special product cultured for us using 15 different microbes. To that we add selenium to make a potent liquid supplement.

According to researchers of alternative medicine, the future treatments for mental, emotional as well brain and nerve related problems will be based on microbial therapy.

SUE- so why do some doctors insist we only take certain capsules?

A ) They are afraid that the stomach acid nullifies the probiotic. This is not true because the microbes can withstand a pH range of 2 – 13. In the old days we ate fermented foods. Antibiotics and not stomach acid is what destroys our harmful as well as beneficial gut microbes. This includes the action of natural antibiotics, like propolis, oregano, Artemisia or even taking a lot of garlic every day.

A new Q & A from Efficient Microbes answers the most common questions about liquid probiotics

Click on the Facebook logo of the Nature Fresh website to find this page  http://www.efficientmicrobes.co.za/questions-answers/

SUE – how can we grow our own probiotics?

By adding 1 teaspoon of the liquid probiotic mixture to a glass of water. Overnight the microbes double up. They can also be added to yoghurt or sauerkraut. You can also break open one of those expensive capsules and mix the contents with a little yoghurt. Leave it in the kitchen and take a little bit from time to time.

https://www.hyperbiotics.com/blogs/recent-articles/111561542-psychobiotics-probiotics-for-your-mind  Look at this link. Our Probiotic mixture is similar. I never knew it was so good for the brain, emotions and nerves!!!!

I will be mentioning this as well

Abstract

The human gut harbours a dynamic and complex microbial ecosystem, consisting of approximately 1 kg of bacteria in the average adult, approximately the weight of the human brain. The evolutionary formation of a complex gut microbiota in mammals has played an important role in enabling brain development and perhaps sophisticated social interaction. Genes within the human gut microbiota, termed the microbiome, significantly outnumber human genes in the body, and are capable of producing a myriad of neuroactive compounds. Gut microbes are part of the unconscious system regulating behaviour. Recent investigations indicate that these microbes majorly impact on cognitive function and fundamental behavior patterns, such as social interaction and stress management. In the absence of microbes, underlying neurochemistry is profoundly altered. Studies of gut microbes may play an important role in advancing understanding of disorders of cognitive functioning and social interaction, such as autism.

Q & A Parasites and Probiotics 2016

Apr 12, 2016 by Sue Visser

Q & A with Sue Visser and Nature Fresh 2016 PARASITES AND PROBIOTICS

No illness is due to a deficiency of a pharmaceutical drug.

Disclaimer: This information is not to be used for self-diagnosis or medication. Please share it with your physician or therapist who is managing your medications for your problem if you are interested in using any of the substances mentioned. They may duplicate the effects of pharmaceutical drugs. The combined treatment needs to be evaluated as such. Note too, that the cleansing of parasites , heavy metal detoxification, dietary improvements and a good supplementation programme also affect the way that medications behave.

Parasite Remedy for flukes, worms and larger parasites? Yes!

Q ) Does your parasite remedy rid the body of organ flukes as well as the common worms?

A ) Definitely flukes. I have had personal experience, especially with Bilharzia. I took 2 or 3x the dose, twice a day for 3 days to test clear for the disease. Not bad after Having it unwittingly for 20 years! My husband used olive leaf tablets to cure Malaria when we were on holiday. See the attached info.

Regards, Sue

Probiotics – are liquids effective enough?

Q ) I am also a strong believer in the potential of the right probiotics.

I do have a question regarding your product, as I know there are certain requirements that a Probiotic supplement needs to meet in order to be effective (lab-grade, minimum of 15 billion cfus, at least 7 unique strains) and lastly it must be able to survive the acid in the stomach.

Since your product is in a liquid form, I would like to know if you have a means of determining whether it survives the journey through the stomach to reach the intestines and perform its function?

I would appreciate your feedback, as I am very interested in using your product.

A ) Probiotics are part of our natural diet and need to be established in the gut. Our formulation “grows” in water, food and to a degree the digestive system depending on pH variations.

So measuring strains and trying to guarantee the survival of stomach acid is, I agree what most people want. But we are told to eat yoghurt – how does that survive stomach acid? So in terms of a diet enriched with fermented food that is continuously passing through the digestive system one has to “seed” the strains into food rich in fibre (prebiotics). Adding 15 strains is helpful and certainly according to extensive research done by the developers of this product it produces the beneficial effects. I have attached more information about fermented foods we can make and enjoy at home. I am passionate about this!

Response: ) Thank you very much for the immensely informative attachments. Your articles are incredibly educative, and I plan to make my own sauerkraut before the end of the week! I also appreciate your clarification regarding the stomach acid matter; it makes a lot of sense putting it in the fermented food context. I have already placed an order for a batch of the liquid supplement, and plan to take it in addition to ProbiFlora 9-strain (hopefully this will boost the strain variability). Thanks for taking the time to respond; it is much appreciated. I look forward to reading your other articles!

Again: ) Thanks for the response. I am happy to share all my resources with Doctors like you! I have had excellent responses from some, especially with the Candidiasis problem. (Too much lactobacillus acidophilus) most come right with our olive leaf tablets and are surprised when I recommend NO yoghurt! Here is a nice collection of my articles online, should you need backup. Love, Sue

Response: )I will definitely look into the olive leaf tablets as well.

I also found the yogurt matter shocking – as one would assume that unflavoured/bulgarian/greek yogurt does not contain sugar – which promotes candida growth. So finding out that the sugar content of 3-5mg/100ml would to some extent cancel out the effects of the added probiotics is disappointing. Thank you for the link, it is going to be very helpful.

First of all, thank you for some really great products, im using the whole range 🙂

Probiotics – at room temperature. How do we grow them and get more benefit?

Q) I have just started to use your probiotic liquid and like to know how i should store this? In the fridge or room? Would also like to know if you have any more information how to cultivate it like you mention on the label. Always a bit vary about growing bacterias in the kitchen environment but would love to start making my own yogurt but would also like to get the most out of the beneficial bacterias without risking my health :-). Thanks!

A ) No problem with leaving the bottle out but keep it closed. Microbes are complex – 10 of them to 1 human cell in the body. I have attached more info. The more fermented food you eat the better. I make a lot of wayward products by soaking water with 5ml Probiotics and adding kitchen fruit and veg offcuts (prebiotics). Then it all gets blended and sieved and out comes more enhanced probiotics. They do colonise all along the gut providing you eat a steady supply of ferments. Miso, Amasi, yoghurt, sauerkraut, etc.

Get yourself well cultured! Love, Sue

Gut problem after 3 courses of antibiotics. PROBIOTIC-15 and Parasite Remedy
Can you please help me or direct me to some articles for help. I just went through 3 courses of antibiotics and during the third course of antibiotics I suddenly developed severe colon pain, gas and discomfort. I stopped the antibiotics and bought probiotics 9 strand from dischem. IT’s now a week later and still no relief from colon pain, cramps and gas. I did suffer from IBS and were gluten sensitive before the antibiotics, but had the situation reasonably under control by following a gluten free diet.

We now have superbugs and antibiotics don’t work as well as they should. Take our Parasite Remedy as a chaser for viruses, fungus, yeast, etc. Mycotoxins are not killed by antibiotics. Rife treatment is the best option.

I am not sure what you are eating, but hopefully still no gluten.

Have a look at the blood type lists, you may find a trigger food (one that does not suit you?) www.naturefresh.co.za

Go Chinese and get some MSG – Aromat or Robetsons ZEAL, from the supermarket. The expensive alternative is L-glutamate, but it converts to MSG in the body. It is the best for this problem, and makes food taste great.

Just never take a teaspoon of the supplement without food, because it lowers blood sugar too dramatically. (I had a bad experience). I have attached some articles, but also wrote about it on Infobarrel
At Infobarrel, have a look at Budwig smoothies, this is the ultimate to restore the damage – everywhere. There are also recipes for gluten free and blood type.
Also introduce more fermented food (probiotic) in your diet. Our Probiotic-15 liquid can be added to these cultures. For example, 5ml added to yoghurt with molasses will yield 10x more microbes within a few days.

Hope you come right. Regards, Sue Visser

Probiotic Composition of NATURE FRESH PROBIOTIC-15 concentrate.

824D4C2F-B68E-4377-B56C-744CEF68EBC2COMPOSITION PER 15ml 13515 mg Purified structured water 10% Colloidal Silver to fight infections. 600 mg SCM EM food grade* 525 mg Organic grape and apple juice 150 mg Natural Molasses, 150 mg Herbal Extracts 45 mg kelp, 15 mg Sodium Chloride 200 mcg Selenium AAC (100% rda) Herbal extracts (combined 1%) Devil’s claw, St John’s Wort and Peppermint.

* CONTAINS 15 microbial strains SCM EM food grade: www.saaem.co.za Lactic acid bacteria: Bifidobacterium animalis ssp lactis, Bi bifidum, Bi longum, Lactobacillus acidophilus, L bulgaricus, L.casei, L. Delbrueckii, L. Fermentum , L. Plantarum, L.diacetylactis, L. Lactis. Phototropic bacteria: (similar to blue-green algae): Rhodopseudomonas palustris, Bacillus subtilis Beneficial yeasts: (do not cause candidiasis) Saccharomyces cerevisiae, Streptococcus thermophilus. CAUTION: Use this product under medical supervision if used with other medications to treat cancer, HIV AIDS, etc. Avoid if sensitive to any of the ingredients.

PROBIOTIC-15 is a liquid concentrate of the three basic families of probiotic strains: lactobacillus, phototropic probiotics (similar to blue-green algae) and beneficial yeasts that do not cause candidiasis. These beneficial microbes consume the trouble making candida! When we take antibiotics and even large and frequent doses of herbs like goldenseal, oregano oil, Echinacea or propolis we kill off the beneficial gut microbes as well. In other words, we compromise over 80% of the immune system and that is why we suffer from candida and constipation!

It is not about the amount of each microbe you need but more the variety of strains. Microbes grow by themselves so the latest trend is to provide a larger selection that will then take care of establishing a healthy population of beneficial bacteria. This creates a synergistic effect: more from less because they interact with each other to enhance our health in diverse ways. All we need is a liquid “seeding” concentration of the 15 species and they will grow on food, molasses, yoghurt or even a glass of water at room temperature. The TMA (total microbial action) of PROBIOTIC-15 liquid concentrate doubled within a few days when a teaspoon of it was left in a glass of water at room temperature. It just keeps on growing!

The daily dose is 5 – 15 ml. This also provides 200mcg of selenium. In South Africa we are deficient in selenium – the antioxidant mineral that helps to prevent cancer and HIV / AIDS. Minute quantities of herbal extracts are introduced to work at a vibrational level. They are: peppermint, hypericum and devil’s claw. The key adaptogens: Siberian ginseng, ashwaganda and astragalus help to train the body to gradually build by a more positive reaction to stress by stimulating an activity known as hormesis.

PROBIOTIC-15 can also be diluted and used on the skin, as a hair rinse, a vaginal douche or as an enema. Use it to soak and sanitize your fruit and vegetables and then tip the water onto your pot plants! The second product is a spray-on version of the concentrate plus it contains 10% colloidal silver. According to research it does not affect the beneficial microbes and it provides a boost of its own. It is great for first aid, to sanitize chopping boards, toilet seats etc. It can be sprayed directly onto a plate of food, especially if you do not trust the salad! Food stays fresher and free of nasty gut bugs. So now you know what to do with your probiotics every day.
Q2 ) How many CFUs are in one ml?
The concentration of organisms is important when a person’s gut is compromised

by an encapsulated bacteria which produces toxins which are constantly killing helpful (physiological) bacteria.
A2 ) I hope this helps to clear up the problem.

We provide a starter kit – the bacteria needs to grow in the gut. It will, if the pH is correct in the large intestine at pH 6.5 regardless of how concentrated the culture is. Doctors worry about stomach acid killing probiotics, but people on natural diets who eat plenty of fermented food have healthy gut flora. (Weston Price foundation) We find that the main problems are:
Larger parasites and especially candidiasis- derived organisms. They also invade biofilms, as you mentioned. The most direct way to kill them is with RIFE or SCIO therapy. Our Parasite Remedy and olive leaf tablets have been used as part of the treatment to the satisfaction of many therapists, especially for candidiasis.

Gluten intolerance and autoimmune problems make the gut inhospitable.

People ingest too much lactobacillus. We have become too civilized and do not eat fermented foods that contain the other strains a few times a day like we used to.
So at best, I try to encourage people to grow or multiply the 15 strains in their food. Even a dose in a glass of water will have double the microbes if left to stand overnight. They increase if you add a little molasses, banana and other prebiotics.
There is no guarantee that a protected capsule will have the desired effect. (Chemical toilets have shown that a lot of pills and capsules are excreted as is. ) You could investigate enteric coated capsules. Some colon therapists have used our PROBIOTIC-15 after their full cleansing. They insert it into the intestine directly to re-establish all the beneficial strains. (This process is similar to a faecal transplant but is less scary for the recipient.)
I have chronic halitosis? Probiotics and oral hygiene products that can help.

Q) I do trust that you are well. Do you perhaps stock oral probiotics? The reason for my enquiry is that I have been told it does help with chronic halitosis. Thank you.

A ) Thanks for your enquiry. We can help you deal with the cause of your problem – usually fluoride! It kills mouth cells and the dead tissue causes an odour. We do not make specific oral probiotics but you can rinse or gargle with our 15 strain probiotic liquid. Mix a little in some water. Take it as a daily supplement to improve the quality of gut bacteria to keep it healthy. Often infected mucous membranes around the tonsils, post natal area and throat can cause halitosis. A lack of saliva or dry mouth syndrome (thyroid problem) is also a cause.

But the good news is that our toothpaste and mouthwash do the trick. You can put some of the non-toxic mouthwash in a spray bottle and use it before you have to face the crowds.

Complaint that Parasite Remedy causes constipation?

Q ) A consumer has complained that this product made him constipated within 2 days of using this product. They had not changed anything else in their diet. After stopping the product the constipation ended. Is this a possible side effect of this remedy?

A ) Anything is possible! We have never has such a complaint before. Dehydration and a lack of vitamin C are usually responsible for constipation. Iron supplements also cause constipation, perhaps it supplies some iron.

I guess one needs to drink more water when eliminating parasites – to flush them out! Another “side effect” we have had reported on a few occasions is with HIV/AIDS patients, testing negative after taking a course of parasite remedy for a stomach complaint.

But thanks for the query – perhaps we can suggest that it can be used as a treatment for diarrhoea? (Would be good for gastro.)

I hope today finds you well.

PARASITE REMEDY – regular treatment for people and pets?

Q) I have used several of your products before and have recently purchased your parasite remedy.

It is good practice for all members of the household to use a parasite remedy at the same time and I was wondering if it is possible to use this product for my pets?

I see that the ingredients are the those most commonly used in natural parasite treatment both for animals and humans. I try to avoid chemical medicines for my pets but I am struggling to find a reliable natural animal specific product.

Can you perhaps recommend dosage instructions for dogs and cats by weight? I will of course allow the alcohol to evaporate before administration and dilute the remedy in water.

A ) – Yes and yes!

But, not all cats and dogs will take it willingly. Treatments all round are usually required 1 week per month. Controlling egg stages of worms is done for the other 3 weeks with clove powder. They don’t dig that either but when mixed with sodium bicarbonate or diatomaceous earth it makes a good grooming powder. They ingest the cloves because as you know, they can’t resist licking and licking and licking!

We do have Parasite Remedy in capsule form with MSM. That would be ideal for animals (I’m guessing) of over 5 kg. A big cat for instance because you can slip it down the throat. Hopefully without being bitten or lacerated or pissed upon.

I have a RIFE machine and run the group therapy with the extension mat, a field of 3 meters for 5 – 10 hours on PARASITES. Wonderful it is, and seems to get rid of resident fleas on carpets and on us as well. There is an epidemic at the moment.

Hope this can help you “all”, love, Sue Visser

Ingredients for making a Parasite Remedy

Q) I would like to try out the home parasite remedy. Do you know where I can find the ingredients please? Wormwood or Wilde als, Olive leaves, Ivy, Watercress or nasturtium leaves

A) If you are unable to get the ingredients, then try our Nature Fresh Parasite Remedy. It is available as a tincture or in capsules at Dischem. Or online from TAKEALOT.com

I have attached notes on the recipes. A local plant nursery will help with the plants. You can buy nasturtium and watercress seeds. Some health shops sell dried herbs. But it would cost a fortune that way!

Here is a link to my collection of articles on natural remedies. You can get more ideas! Lots of love, Sue Visser

Scabies – toddler, itching desperate. Parasite Remedy

Q ) My 3.5 year old has been diagnosed with scabies by our GP. She has an itchy rash in between fingers, wrist and armpits. Also there is a rash across her torso and cheeks, but not itchy. Is there anything natural i can use to eliminate the scabies and soothe the itching. The lotion the GP gave stings and burns. I stay in cape town, so would appreciate if you could refer me to a supplier of your products.

A ) I once noticed scabies on my skin. It went away by taking the Parasite Remedy (Dischem – capsules or tincture). You can also rub the tincture on the skin. Our pain Gel also helps with the itch.

Read the information below:

Skin parasites

Lice, fleas, ticks, scabies, mites, head lice & nits. These are the most common, but are often connected to parasites inside the body like worms and flukes; We need to eradicate the associated fluke to totally stop the scabies breeding cycles. Nature Fresh Parasite Remedy is effective against liver fluke and most of the worms. Also Swab or spray skin with olive leaf tincture or Herbal Parasite Remedy. It immediately stops the itch! So does Pain Gel.

Flukes: sheep liver flukes (Fasciola – check allergy to lanolin. Bad infestation causes extreme allergies), intestinal fluke (fasciolopsis buskii linked to cancer, HIV, Alzheimer’s, cron’s disease, Kaposi’s, endometriosis – check all over for larval stages. Adult lives in lower bowel) , pancreatic fluke (erythraemia – linked to Epstein Barre Virus), human liver fluke (Clonorchis), Schistosome (causes bilharzias)

Treatment: Electronic (Rife) , QX and BEST, herbal remedies. Also scan for fluke stages in other parts of the body; brain, etc

Products tested on animals? Glycerine – plant or animal source?

A ) Thanks for your enquiry. I am a vegetarian and animal lover. We do not test on animals – only first on myself, family and friends. However, many products are used and loved by animals! The Aloe toothpaste is xylitol-free so that it can be used by animals.

Our Probiotic-15 can be added to their drinking water. /when diluted it makes a good final rinse for our hair and their coats.

All glycerine is vegetable based. I do not eat or torture my friends. Love, Sue

Response ) Hi Sue, Ah – a kindred spirit…..just the response I like on a Monday morning. Thanks ever so much for coming back to me Sue. Love the products and your information makes it an absolute bonus:-)

Calcium Complex to make baby sleep for longer? Try this instead!

Hello I live in the UK. I am after the calcium & magnesium supplement that help toddlers & babies sleep better please? I am absolutely knackered with my 19 month old waking up in the very early morning hours and not going back to sleep again. Would you please let me know whether it will be possible to post me a bottle to try and how much it will be with postage? Thank you and looking forward hearing from you
You asked for our Calcium Complex. I don’t think this will solve your early bird problem. The cost and hassle does not justify ordering it. Any calmag these days is good and they need it for sure.

But first try this :

We also had the problem (3 decades ago). I discovered that the orientation of the cot made all the difference. In South Africa, when the head of the cot faces East (sunrise) they wake up earlier. The N-S axis is better. Some people prefer the North (like me). When I travel and wake up too early I laugh and take out the compass. Try it.

For better sleeps they say camomile tea helps. My daughter always needed less sleep than me! It was exhausting and eventually we left her morning bottle next to the bed and she would creep in with us so we could get some extra shuteye.

Junior toothpaste formulation?

Q) Hello, Love the idea of your toothpaste for little people! I have a question

Regarding the ingredients, how come both ascorbic & citric acids are

included? Are these not erosive to teeth enamel?
A ) Hi, thanks for your not-so-stupid question.

1 the citric acid is used to bring down the pH of toothpaste to neutral (saliva friendly)

2 the vitamin C is negligible. Basically red tape! By law (act 101 of 1965) we can’t say the product is good for gums without it!

Oh yes – I also battled about the “no harmful fluoride” and after trying to market fluoride free for kids I had to include homeopathic CALC FLOUR.

3 Never suck vitamin C or lemon juice or citric acid. I soaked a baby tooth in Vitamin C and it vanished!

Cheers, Sue

The feeling of a lump in the throat, the GLOBUS SENSATION – any solution? Yes!

Q) I have never asked but are you perhaps familiar with the Lump in Throat Sensation or Globus Sensation? Apparently I am anxiety riddled due to public profile and have struggled for the last few years to solve it with SA doctors who have never heard of it even though it is all over Google and even Wikipedia.

A) You may wonder why I know about the phantom lump – I get it too. But it never is due to anxiety – only food allergies. I admit it does lead to anxiety, especially when broadcasting or stress because your mouth becomes dry. It is definitely related to a food reaction in my case as the link below explains. http://www.fauquierent.net/globus2.htm

I now travel with a little potassium chloride to deal with what one could call a constant attention thief. Any blood type except A secretor can develop it from eating wheat.

So after eating some corn crackers yesterday it hit me again. So obviously there was wheat and something else hidden in there that I don’t tolerate. The mass of tissue in the throat (cell clumping) is the result. It only goes away with the tissue salt KALI MUR (potassium chloride) and is best carried out by the drinking and diluting method with the actual salt substitute.

1 500 ml water in a bottle with 1ml potassium chloride. Shake and take a few sips till ½ down.

2 Fill up the bottle again an hour later and repeat sipping and filling throughout the day repeatedly dilute (potentise) the original solution. This turns it into a homeopathic remedy. About 2 litres of successive dilution per day should do the trick.

3 The next day, if needed start with a new solution.

You can get potassium chloride from a health shop or pharmacy. Depending on the extent, it takes a day or two to subside.

But don’t eat a lot of it on popcorn because it can burn the skin off the top of your mouth.

Plan B is to desensitize yourself using urine therapy. Basically a few drops of morning urine will contain the antigens that are causing a food intolerance and hence an accumulated throat lumpiness. Use the urine instead of the potassium chloride for the dilution treatment. It is also easy enough to place a few drops of this morning urine under your tongue. The blood vessels there will absorb it into the bloodstream and antibodies will be made against whatever it is you do not tolerate in your food. It is usually wheat or gluten – but may be something else. More about urine:

ATOPIC DERMATITIS

Q ) I am currently using your Nature Fresh herbal parasite remedy. My question is, do you have a product to treat atopic dermatitis?

A ) Here are some suggestions – they have helped many people. Take care, Love, Sue xx NATURE FRESH PRODUCTS: Body Wash or Sensitive wash, Aloe Skin therapy gel, Bee Balm. Anti-Microbial Breath Buster mouthwash on skin. https://www.naturefresh.co.za/prodlist.aspx

Response: Thank you so much for getting back to me regarding the Calcium Complex. It makes sense about the orientation of the cot! I have always believed that it makes a difference, but somehow, my brain is too foggy to think straight at this moment 😉 . I will move her cot to the N-S axis tonight and let’s hope for the best. I wish we had your range here in the UK 🙁

Will look for an alternative if you say it is very important for children anyway. It is so tricky to get medicines here.

I really appreciate your help a lot and looking forward to dreaming sweet dreams! 😉

Thanks so much for your advise. I got the Bee Balm.

Rosacea, leaky gut – Intimate cleanser as a face wash? Of course!

Good Morning Sue,

Q ) Can you suggest any products for rosacea(with pimples), histamine

intolerance, leaky gut? I know that olive leaf is excellent.

I see you have products for sensitive intimate areas, but don’t you have a

facewash that can be used for shaving as well? I see you have a treatment

gel.

I think I saw your products at Dischem.

A ) My husband uses Rooibos intimate cleanser for hair, body and even to wash his new car!

Some people like to shave with our Aloe skin therapy gel.

Acne Roeacea and leaky gut, etc is usually a low stomach acid problem .

Response )Thanks for your reply. I’ve actually already discovered that I could have a leaky gut/low acid problem. I see you suggested Solgar products under ailments on your website, and I’ve settled for the digestive enzyme because it has everything in it. Your articles are very interesting and informative, and has confirmed and helped tremendously. Thank you.

I am so delighted to find your products and have started with your toothpaste and recently bought your Deo-Buster too.

Complaint about colloidal silver in PROBIOTIC-15

Q ) You seem to have a great line of products and I was about to buy your probiotic for my children (I’d rather buy local), until I noticed that you include colloidal silver in some of your injected formulations. I must be honest, it makes me doubt your whole range! I’m interested in your opinion.

A ) Your query: you include colloidal silver in some of your injected formulations?

We do not make injected formulations. Our PROBIOTIC-15 LIQUID does not have any colloidal silver in it. It is up to the customer to choose what they prefer. Both are popular products and nobody has ever complained about either of them.

The probiotic spray has 10% colloidal silver added to it. Evidently this amount does not interfere with the strains included in the PROBIOTIC-15 spray. So far nobody has objected to the inclusion of the colloidal silver or questioned my formulation. I like the spray for kitchen use, to spray on salads, for wiping down surfaces and adding to mixtures I soak before juicing them. It works well on damp cotton wool for cleaning new-born kittens, I have just discovered! (3 abandoned kittens for Christmas.) The spray is so convenient to apply to damp cotton wool for their “sticky eyes” and for servicing the rear end.

Our probiotics, as stated on the label are made by Efficient Microbes.

As experts in this field they can provide more detailed information:

http://www.efficientmicrobes.co.za/questions-answers/

I have attached more information plus ways to increase your intake of probiotic foods. Enjoy!

Q ) I do see that most of your ingested products do not contain colloidal silver. However, I still feel concerned, in light of the literature opposing it (and it’s ban in many countries) that some do.

You say that it is up to the customer to choose, but I’m quite sure that many do not have all the information to choose with. Anyway, I do appreciate your response and I’m confident that you will keep abreast of the latest literature on the topic for your customer’s sake.

A ) Thanks for your concern. Perhaps you should challenge the manufacturers of ECS, one of the top SA companies. The South African Journal of Natural Medicine promotes the use of colloidal silver as an alternative to antibiotics, hence the low dose in the probiotic spray. The scare about turning blue is exaggerated. People who claim this and still believe in ingesting fluoride and mega doses of antibiotics are not telling the whole truth.

Probiotics

Mar 27, 2016 by Sue Visser

Why do we take Probiotics?

After using antibiotics we are advised to replace beneficial bacteria also known as gut flora that are killed unintentionally. However, there are natural antibiotics that can adversely affect our resident population of beneficial microbes. Anything “natural” that destroys bacteria will also need probiotic compensation if it is used in large, repeated doses.

Bacterial infections (successfully) treated by: Echinacea, propolis, golden seal, oregano extracts and even excessive doses of garlic will wipe out the good bacteria that need to be replaced. If not, you remain vulnerable to dysbiosis and especially mould-based infections that cause cancer or weaken the immune system.

Probiotics are live beneficial bacteria that live in the gut and make up over 80% of the immune system. Low levels of gut flora cannot control the growth of candida-based yeasts that then proliferate and causes over 72 types of infections.

  • Lactic acid in Nature Fresh PROBIOTIC-15 has nothing to do with milk. It is a strong sterilizing compound. It suppresses harmful micro organisms and breaks down and ferments the fibre we eat such as lignin and cellulose. It also produces antibacterial compounds that are known as bacteriocins that attack pathogenic bacteria, yeasts and moulds.
  • Probiotics neutralize toxins, remove heavy metals and create vitamins in the gut. They help to speed up the elimination of toxic waste in the bowel and naturally bulk up the stool and balance the water content as do laxatives and fibre supplements.
  • They also keep cholesterol and triglyceride levels in check.
  • Probiotics break down excessive hormone levels to control oestrogen dominance

A plant-derived combination of ingeniously versatile probiotic strains provided by EM (effective microbe) technology has inspired two new products. 25 years of research and development in Japan created this new EM technology and it has now been introduced to South Africa. Our formulation includes colloidal silver. The Spray version has an additional 10% colloidal sliver. It is quick and convenient to use directly onto affected areas such as sore throats, Candida, etc. It can be used on foods such as lettuce.

Vegan-friendly PROBIOTIC-15 concentrated liquid with selenium

PROBIOTIC-15 spray 10% with colloidal silver and selenium

A spray-on version of the PROBIOTIC-15 liquid concentrate with: an additional 10% colloidal silver solution. Probiotic 15 SprayAccording to research colloidal silver does not affect the beneficial microbes and it enhances its germ fighting effects. It is great for immune boosting, first aid, to sanitize chopping boards, toilet seats etc. It can be sprayed directly onto food, especially if you do not trust the salad! Treat raw fish, chicken, etc before storing or cooking. Food stays fresher and free of nasty gut bugs. Ideal for lettuce or raw food you eat when don’t trust it.
