Q1 Blood type O and am 50 kg overweight
Thanks for a very inspiring, practical and colourful website! I’m 43 years old and had blood tests done recently. My cortisol levels, testosterone, iron/magnesium serum, estragon and progesterone levels are extremely low. In actual fact, Ampath couldn’t do a reading for my testosterone, as it was way too low. I am apparently bordering on Adrenal Fatigue (my mom was diagnosed with Addison’s Disease a couple of years ago.) My insulin and sugar levels are fine, though. I am also 50 kg overweight with a terrible sweet tooth. I tried the Banting diet, but only managed for about 9 days. It’s not practical for me.
The various natural medicines the doctor prescribed are costing me a fortune. This includes iron tablets, Rhodiola tablets, Vit D3 tablets, etc. I was also prescribed daily injections (HCG) to speed up my thyroid for weight loss. I managed to inject myself 4 times only. I don’t see myself living a life of daily injections, just to lose weight.
I have done a lot of reading on the Blood Type lifestyle, and have most of Dr D’ Adamo’s books, but am not sure whether this is the way to go for me. My mom and I are both blood type O Negative. Any advice, please? Thanking you kindly.
A ) I am not a doctor and can only make suggestions to help you. This information is not to be used for diagnosis or treatment without the approval of a qualified medical practitioner.
Phew, duty done. I apologize for being direct (I don’t get paid) so will share the real issue with you. STOP EATING WHEAT!
1 Cut out all wheat. Wheat antigens attack thyroid and adrenal tissue, especially for type O. My sister has the same profile as you and is also O, with stable insulin and sugar. She has to take thyroid and adrenal hormones. It is complicated and she refuses to cut out wheat, so keeps asking for alternatives to all the meds and supplements she takes. (Wheat is highly addictive, even more so than some drugs.)

2 Take MEGAMAX, 1 per day to start building up the testosterone. It works very well for older women. Our BLACK COHOSH tincture will help you restore progesterone. Both progesterone and testosterone are precursors for oestrogen.
3 Take MEGASLIM and follow the free diet plan. It only works for people who eat for their blood type. During our trials, 3 ladies lost 50kg in 3 weeks. Their combined weight is what you need to lose. Shocking and you still want to eat sweet junk?
There is no need to inject and take expensive stuff if you can’t see any results. Eating in conflict with your blood type and having no commitment, let alone discipline will keep you trapped in a catch 22 situation. The alternative is to eat only what suits YOU!

With the blood type diet one needs to work out if you are a secretor (O1) or non-secretor (O2) I suspect you are O2. Please check up on your tolerance, using my lists on page 22 of Healthy Happy Eating. My research is based on D’Adamo but ignore his earlier lists that do not distinguish between the sub types. This is why some people don’t succeed.

Q2 Hormonal – mood and weight issues. Blood type A +
I heard your show on ifm about hormones. It was really interesting – and I will be mentally preparing myself for the next approx 20 years, to eat raw sweet potato when I hit menopause! 😀 For now though, I’d like to try one of your hormone balancing tinctures. I listen to your programme all the time, and its awesome to hear someone who believes in their body’s OWN ability to heal itself- Given the right tools. This is so refreshing in a world pumped full of steroids and side effects. All this goodness available on Takealot! Whats not to love? Thank you for your time, Warms Regards
This is me:
1) blood type A positive
2) bmi of 33
3) 35 years old
4) have 2 boys
5) ex sugar addict – for the last 4 months I have cut out most added sugars
6) need to lose weight
7) very grumpy around menstrual cycle
8) currently have the ‘loop’ (the one without hormones) since 2011
9) hated being on the pill (Yaz) since I was depressed and emotional ALL the time
10) before giving birth I had SEVERE period pains every month
11) it has always felt like my hormones were out of whack. The emotional rollercoaster has stopped since I stopped the sugar, but remnants definitely remain.
12) not much acne as such, but every month- around my period- I get a massive, painful pimple somewhere on my body.
13) I always feel foggy, lethargic and scatter-brained, even though I am only 34.
14) I have been taking the herbalife-tea for the past year. It has large amounts of caffeine, but it is something I cant live without. I have energy, and can concentrate ALOT better when I drink the tea.
15) 7 years ago, I was told That I have cysts on my ovaries, but not pcos.
18) I have a very itchy rash on my hands and feet that flares up everytime I am very stressed. I get relief by running hot water over it.
19) I dont go to the loo enough! I have always had constipation for as long as I can remember. Exercise is the only thing that keeps me regular.
PHEW! after that long story- here is my question:
Which hormonal balancing tincture would you advise?
Coleous Forskohlii or
Chaste Berry or
Both 🙂 Which other products do you recommend to help get my body functioning at its best.
A ) Thanks for a full report – obviously somebody not eating for their blood type who has also taken Yaz pills. The result? Insulin resistance plus a sugar and WHEAT addiction and now a caffeine addiction. Phew!
1 Chasteberry tincture will help regulate your cycles but Coleus tincture plus MEGASLIM are also required. Products alone cannot make you fit and slim – like others claim they do. This is why offer support and guidance that includes free protocols and diet sheets. Obviously exercise would help. But most people with a sluggish thyroid prefer sugar and caffeine!

2 Blood type A.
Follow the A2 (non secretor) food lists plus cut out all gluten including wheat, rye, barley and oats. Try it for 1 month and you will see and feel the difference!
Follow the MEGASLIM protocol and take the capsules. Also take the Coleus tincture daily to speed up your metabolism. (And cut out that caffeine – no wonder you get irritable!)

You asked for products, but please understand that you need to take control of yourself. The fact is that the best way to lose weight, overcome insulin resistance and feel happy and relaxed is to do enough exercise every day. It has to become a routine and requires commitment. I really care about people like you who are exposed to the commercial hypes and medical pitfalls that leave you unable to make your own decisions and take control of your lives. I have provided links to the information you need. The SEARCH box is at your disposal should you need to know more about gluten, thyroid, etc. www.naturefresh.co.za
Thank you so much for listening to our show. Sometimes I wonder if anybody does!
Painful plantar fascilitis?
Q ) Please could you give some information about the plantar fascilitis? Under left foot I have a lot of pain when I am walking I am now 55 years old what can I use for it to apply on.
A ) Hi, here is some very helpful information I found on the internet. http://soulliner.tumblr.com/how-to-cure-plantar-fasciitis
Massage it before you get out of bed with Nature Fresh pain gel. Also a few times a day, especially before you walk around a lot. You can also take our Pain supplement to help. Soak the foot in an Epsom salts footbath at night if it is sore, it helps to reduce swelling and inflammation. https://naturefresh.co.za/products/nf-020-pain-therapy-gel-100ml-bottle/
Hope this helps! Love, Sue
Eltroxin, iodine and rheumatoid arthritis
Q ) I am 62 years old & have been on eltroxin 0,05mg for many years. I have developed rheumatoid arthritis & want to stop using eltroxin. I take 3 drops of lugoll’s every evening, yet scio shows I am lacking iodine. I am gluten/milk/sugar free (what a boring life). Please advise. I am also very intolerant of sulphur & believe molybdenim is the answer but can’t find. Tnx, Lorraine Rousseau
A ) Yes – boring and frustrating. Thyroid chemistry is complex, so please plough through my opus magnus and you may pick up some ideas.
